The front-line team is the face, the voice, and the welcoming committee of The Raptor Center (TRC). In a single month, our two full-time front desk and scheduling staff, with the support of part-time student workers and volunteers, can answer upwards of 600 calls reporting possible injured, ill, and orphaned raptors. From the first report to rescue, this amazing team coordinates finders, rescue volunteers, transportation, and the TRC clinic to get birds into our care in a race against precious time.

All the while, the same folks make sure TRC’s raptor ambassadors and educators are reaching as many hearts and minds as possible. They are responsible for booking programs, coordinating tours, and working with teachers to schedule our free, Legislative Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR) funded classroom STEM curriculum offerings.

Our community is filled to the brim with bird and nature lovers, and that is why TRC’s raptor hotline operates 365 days a year. When you give TRC a call or are welcomed in for a tour, you're talking to highly educated members of our center, so be sure to give them a big “thank you.”
