We are celebrating Earth Day this year with a series of raptor releases. We have a total of six birds ready to return to the wild today!
When the raptors in our clinic are ready for release, we want to get them out the door as quickly as possible. We don't hold them any longer than is needed for their healing and reconditioning. While we weren't purposely trying to align all their releases on Earth Day, we're excited that these events coincided as a way to celebrate!
Released birds include three red-tailed hawks, one adult barred owl, one adult great horned owl, and one young great horned owl.
