You can help save raptors and protect our environment! Providing world-class medical care for injured birds of prey is made possible thanks to generous donations from the public. You also empower us to provide training for future veterinarians and wildlife rehabilitators, workshops and public education programs, and community outreach experiences that reach thousands annually. In addition, you are providing essential resources for conservation research that will give future generations the opportunity to experience raptors in the wild and enjoy our shared ecosystems.
Over 60% of our budget, and 100% of our clinic work, is funded through donations from public support.
Looking for other ways to make an impact?
Here are additional ways you can make a difference for raptors and our environment
Become a monthly supporter
Monthly support of any size helps to provide steady care to raptors year-round that we can count on. Plus, it eliminates printing and postage costs ensuring your gift goes further, and it reduces paper waste!
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. We have volunteers that rescue and transport injured birds to us, assist with feeding and housing, help our hospital staff with patients, give educational tours and programs, and exercise birds prior to release.
Sponsor a Raptor
Support an educational ambassador raptor and receive a certificate of thanks for you or a loved one. Various sponsorship levels ensure a 'thank you' gift to fit your needs. A great idea for the nature lover in your life.
Make a tribute gift
Consider making a tribute gift in memory of someone special or to celebrate and honor a family member, friend, or volunteer. If you wish, we will send a personalized card to the person in whose name your gift was made.
Make an employer-matched gift
Many employers sponsor matching gifts programs, making your impact go even further! Search for your employer on the matching gifts page, or contact your employer to inquire if they offer a matching gift program.
Make a planned or future gift
Charitable estate and income tax planning can help meet your philanthropic goals. If you would like help in creating your plan or want to discuss making a planned gift, please contact Ellen Orndorf, development officer, at 612-624-8457 or [email protected].
Book a program
From classrooms and community centers, to corporate events and booths, our education ambassadors can thrill and inspire any crowd! We can deliver programs at your location or safely online to meet your needs. Proceeds from educational activities directly support our mission of conservation.
