Housing Raptor Ambassadors

One key component of a raptor ambassador management plan is housing. Housing serves several functions and is often dynamic as a bird ages and its physical and behavioral needs change.  Learn what these functions are and how to create a safe, enriching housing environment that can be adjusted to meet a raptor’s changing needs. Characteristics of the housing structure (location, size, shape, materials), interior design (perches, shelters, bath pans), and enrichment options will be covered.
