As The Raptor Center celebrates its golden year, it’s fitting the clinic is admitting a record number of raptor patients, including youngsters in need of help, and a notable increase of barred owls (+42), bald eagles (+25), and redtailed hawks (+14) from this time last year. To meet the varied needs of all these feathered patients, the hospital is bustling: veterinary students; visiting veterinary professionals from Thailand, Argentina, and Dubai; and our volunteer corps, all working hard to provide needed support.
